Digital photos can be a real headache. They are individually small in file size when reduced in size, but a single large, high quality digital photos can occupy more space than an MP3 file. The photos also have a habit of sneaking up on you. Editing can be a problem, too, especially when you need to modify a large number of photos at once.Change each image takes forever.
The solution to this problem is known as batch processing, a process to change a large number of images at once with minimal involvement. This can save much time and SuntitGreen BatchBlitz is one of the best free apps batch around. Let's look at how this software can help.
Selection of sources and outputs

Once you've installed BatchBlitz the first thing you need to do to photos batch is to select the source and output. Before doing anything, however, you must click File and then New.This project opens a new batch. If you do not and will not be able to select or process anything.
The source is only the files you want to process, and you can begin to select the source files by clicking on the icon of the large fountain in the left side of the main program window. This opens a file browser. The photos will need to be processed drag and dropped from the top right frame on the bottom of the source footage.
Next, you will be directed to the output section. Not much to do here. The most important part of this step is to select an output location, which is simply the folder where the processed images will be sent. You can also choose to overwrite the original files, but generally suggest that keeping unless you do not like the way the batch process runs.
Action

Then we have the Action section, which is the most complicated. This is where you choose what you really want to make images to be batched. There are three classes of shares, pre-processors, processors, and post-processors. The only pre-processor is the filter, which can be used to exclude photos in the batch, if you do not meet the appropriate requirements. Only two post-processors as well, and are used to convert or rename files.
Meat processors are actions that actually change the content of the photo. Processors available include:
Add Image - Place a second image of your choice on all processed photos.Add text - Places the text you want to use in all processed photos. Ideal for watermarks photos!Auto Contrast - Adjusts the contrast of the specified form.Auto Levels - Adjusts the levels of the image as specified.COLOR - Adjust the color of the image as specified. Very good for setting a lot of photos that have a yellow tinge due to lighting conditions.Crop - you can crop the image to reduce the size of the canvas.Desaturate - coats of color images to gray scale for the artistic look.Resize - great for the conversion of a large volume of raw digital photos to a web friendly sizes.Rotate - Rotates the photo as a pizza!
Once you have selected some of the actions we're not done yet. You will need to click on each individual action in the framework of actions to specify exactly what you would like to happen to batch process the photos. For example, this picture shows the window that opens when you open the text options Add process. You also need to click the Active checkbox in each process.
Processing Conclusion
That's it. All you have to do is click Tasks and then click Start. The process will start. If you selected a bunch of pictures, be patient, as this may take some time.
BatchBlitz I like a lot, and it is my favorite freeware batch right now. But if you think you know a better alternative, let us know in the comments.
