Man has created 128,000 atomic bombs

A recent report on nuclear proliferation provides disturbing figures on the number of nuclear explosive devices created man.
More than 128,000 atomic bombs would have been built since 1945, 98% of which would have been the work of the United States and the Soviet Union / Russia. Although thanks to the START treaty and subsequent agreements have put the brakes on nuclear proliferation the current number of operating pumps has fallen considerably, the problem remains that USA and Russia and other nuclear club members selected provide information on their programs nuclear weapons (UK and France) but no data on China, India, Pakistan, Israel, or North Korea, which is estimated to be ignored by 2% of the total global nuclear arsenal.
The report estimates that in the summer of 2010, nine members of the nuclear club had in its arsenal of 22,400 weapons around intact, 95% of which are shared between USA and Russia.
The problem is not the 3% that could have countries such as Britain or France, which seems unlikely to come to make use of those weapons with an aggressive character, but in any case, defensive and / or deterrence. The concern would be the use that could make China, India, Pakistan, Israel, and North Korea in light of the circumstances of a hypothetical escalation could use nuclear weapons in an unknown quantity but in terms of mere statistics could approaching the hundred guns per country.
Another fact to take into consideration with regard to how to quantify the nuclear arsenal, for example, a B-52 bomber or the "invisible" B-2 count each as a single nuclear weaponwhen 60 bombers would be able to carry a total of 1136 bombs. ─ [ Mother Jones / BasicINT]
